Last updated: May 1, 2026

These SMS Terms of Service explain how text messaging works between you and Legacy Health Specialists, including what messages you might receive, how to opt out, and the costs that may apply.

Reviewer notice: PLACEHOLDER CONTENT — This page contains a starting draft to be reviewed and revised by Legacy Health Specialists' compliance counsel before public launch. The content reflects common patterns for Medicare brokerage privacy/SMS/accessibility disclosures but has not been reviewed for legal accuracy or jurisdictional compliance.

Program description

By providing your phone number on our contact form and checking the consent box, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Legacy Health Specialists for the purposes described in our consent language: scheduling appointments, sharing plan information, sending appointment reminders, and providing client service updates.

Message frequency varies depending on your situation. New clients typically receive 1–4 messages per month during the enrollment process, then occasional messages throughout the year for service-related communications.

Costs

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Legacy Health Specialists does not charge any fee for messages we send or receive. Contact your wireless provider for details about your specific plan.

How to opt out

You can opt out of all SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After we receive STOP, we will not send you further marketing or service text messages, except for a final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.

You can also opt out by calling us or sending us an email. Contact information is in our website footer.

If you opt out and later wish to resume receiving texts, reply START to a previous message or contact us through the website.

Help

If you need help, reply HELP to any message we send. We will respond with our contact information and a brief description of the program. You can also call or email us using the contact information in our website footer.

Carriers and delivery

We use approved business messaging providers to deliver text messages. Major US carriers are supported, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including carrier network conditions, your device's status, and applicable regulations. Critical service communications will also be sent via email or phone where appropriate.

Privacy

Your phone number and the contents of messages you exchange with us are subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number with marketing third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by SMS or by a notice on our website. Continued participation after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
