Legacy Health/Specialists

Vol. 2 — About

A small respected practice for a personal kind of decision.

We started Legacy Health Specialists because Medicare deserves better than the cold-transfer call-center experience most folks get. Independent agents, real conversations, no quotas pressuring anyone toward the wrong plan.

Why us

The neighborly part is the whole business model.

Most Medicare brokerages are call centers. A lead comes in, gets routed to whoever is available, and the agent's job is to close the call as fast as possible. That model works great for the brokerage. It does not work great for the person on the other end of the line.

We took the other path. Smaller agent roster. Longer initial conversations. Real follow-up after enrollment, not because a script tells us to but because that's when most of the actual questions come up.

The carriers pay our commissions, so it costs you nothing to work with us. But that's also true of the call centers. The difference is what you get for it — and whether you can pick up the phone in March and reach someone who knows your file.

Core values

The four things we will not compromise on.

These aren't poster-on-the-wall values. They're how we hire, how we evaluate, and how we decide when to walk away from a deal.

Above reproach

We do the right thing whether anyone is watching or not. In a regulated industry, that's not optional — it's the whole job.

Extreme ownership

When something goes sideways, we own it. No deflecting to the carrier, no blaming the system. Your problem becomes our problem.

Culture of candor

We'll tell you the truth even when it costs us a sale. If a plan we don't sell is better for you, we'll say so.

Atomic growth

Small, steady improvements compound. We're building something that should still be here serving the next generation of neighbors.

When you're ready

Let's start with a conversation.

No pressure, no obligation, no cost. Pick up the phone or send a note — we'll take it from there.
